Grontmij Implements LDAP Integration with its Secure File Transfer Solution by LeapFILE

LeapFILE’s enterprise- class File Exchange Solution with LDAP integration enables Grontmij to have a companywide solution with centralized user management control for over 8000 employees.

Newark, California- (17th Nov., 2008)—Grontmij, a European leader for large scale project management and engineering solutions, has upgraded its existing LeapFILE Enterprise Secure File Transfer Solution to implement LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) integration in order to accommodate additional user accounts for offices across several countries.

Grontmij previously launched a companywide deployment of LeapFILE’s solution to enable its employees to easily exchange files of any size and format, such as blue prints, 3D models, and large design files, with clients all over the world. To enhance the solution and further minimize IT overhead, Grontmij elected to implement LeapFILE’s Active Directory Integration service, allowing centralized management of over 8000 user accounts and permissions control. With this enhancement, Grontmij’s IT administrators now have the additional capability to allow self or automatic registration, enforce password policies, and integrate single sign-on.
