Group Health Plain Language Initiative Receives National Recognition

The Group Health Cooperative Plain Language Network received a ClearMark award and an honorable mention for its work in simplifying language on patient materials. The award, from theCenter for Plain Language, was for the "Informed Consent for Surgery" form, which a working group from the Network reduced from a reading level of grade 15 to grade 6.
