GDS has just launched its new optically enhanced video wall system suitable for both Digital Signage and Public Information applications in Shopping Mall, Event Arena, Railway stations and Airport Terminals.

Rockford, Ilinois, US, February 22, 2012- (PressReleasePoint) - GDS has just launched its new optically enhanced video wall system suitable for both Digital Signage and Public Information applications in Shopping Mall, Event Arena, Railway stations and Airport Terminals.

The new video wall display is made of 46” LCD display modules with antivandal frontal glass and improved readability in high ambient light conditions. The G-Bond lamination process applied to these screens, by reducing internal reflections, increases the contrast ratio and makes the content clearer and more readable in open spaces where high ambient light can be a problem.
Moreover the bonding technology improves the safety of the system by reinforcing the frontal surface of the glass and by keeping the pieces together in case of accidental breaks.
 
The narrow bezel between the screens guarantees seamless view from the long distance, attracting image quality and fast reading of information without interruptions.
 
The mechanical frame and the bracket system have been designed to allow flexible and modular installations and guarantees easy access for service and maintenance.
The thermal management system allows the video wall to operate 24/7 in semi-outdoor environments between 0ºC and +40ºC.
 
G-Wall has recently been installed as public information display in the National Theatre railway station in Oslo for Jernbaneverket (JBV) and in the Utrecht Central Railway Station in the Netherlands for Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS).
