Day 1
Agenda:
- 7:15AM: Depart Hanoi and travel to Cat Ba Island via Hai Phong (Note: If you need a roundtrip private transfer, please set an order separately. If not, you could take Open Bus to get to Hai Phong & return)
- 11:30AM: Arrive at the Slo Pony Adventures Office in Cat Bat Island, Ha Long Bay
- 11:45AM -12:00PM: Check into hotel
- 12:15PM -1:15P: Enjoy Lunch
- 1:30PM - 6:30PM: Optional island life activities and adventures
- 6:30PM: Dinner and enjoy the nightlife of Cat Ba Island

Primary Activities: Sight-seeing, exploring local markets, exploring local culture, visiting local harbors, and experiencing traditional Vietnamese island life.
Other Activities: Visiting historical Hospital cave, swimming, beach combing, mountain bike riding, visiting local villages.

Depart from central Hanoi for an adventure to the Cat Ba archipelago, located about 50 km east of Hai Phong City. The archipelago consists of 366 offshore islands. Cat Ba island is the largest island of the Cat Ba archipelago, it is located between 20o42’ – 20o54’N and 106o54’ – 107o09’E. Cat Ba Town itself is attractively situated around a bay teeming with small boats, many of which belong to pearl or shrimp farmers, and this beautiful panorama can viewed as you stroll along the promenade dominated by the wooded limestone hills behind the main town center. The island is a National Park of Vietnam and was recognized by UNESCO in December 2004 as a Biosphere reserve of the world. Spend your first day relaxing and exploring local markets, beaches, historical sites and locations as you ease into the island lifestyle.

Day 2
Duration: One Full Day
Depart: 8:45AM at Noble House/Slo Pony Office, Cat Ba Island Town, Ha Long Bay
Return: 4:30PM - 5:00PM: Depart for secluded Nam Cat Island
Agenda: (times and agenda may vary for private groups or customers requiring morning pick-up in Ha Long Bay).

- 9:00AM - 9:05AM: Depart Cat Ba Town to Ben Beo
- 9:10AM - 12:15AM: Cruise through Lan Ha Bay to beautiful Hang Ca Cave
- 12:30PM - 1:30PM: Lunch and transfer to Moody’s Beach
- 1:45PM - 4:30PM: Rock Climb on Moody’s Beach (optional kayaking)
- 5:00PM - 5:30PM: Arrive on secluded Nam Cat Island, Ha Long Bay

Primary Activities: Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Cruising the Bay and staying in beach bungalows crafted from local indigenous materials.

After a refreshing morning breakfast, board a Junk boat and cast off into Lan Ha Bay, an area of Ha Long Bay that is so lightly traveled, you certainly don't have to worry about getting tan lines if you're feeling spunky. Cruise to a secluded cave with biodiversity of corals, aquatic, and animal life. You will kayak into a serene hidden lagoon and relax in the early afternoon sunshine as you sail back to the Rock Climbing area to have lunch.

After cruising through a maze of karst towers you will arrive at the secluded and uninhabited Moody’s Island beach with sea water caressing two shorelines beneath a massive limestone cliff. You're certified climbing guides will outfit you with safe and comfortable UIAA standard climbing harnesses and rock climbing gear. After brief instruction your guides will set up top-rope systems on a variety of different routes so that you may ascend the rock face safely and worry free. With the coaching of our experienced guides, climb as high as you’d like overlooking the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay and enjoy a spectacular view unlike any other.
This excursion is designed for any age with or without athletic ability and no necessary prior experience rock climbing.

Day 3
Duration: 1/2 Day
Agenda:
8:15AM: Enjoy breakfast on the beach
9:00AM: Board transfer boat at Nam Cat Island
9:15AM - 9:45AM: Cruise through beautiful Lan Ha Bay back to Cat Ba
10:00AM – 1:00PM: Trek in the beautiful Cat Ba National Park
1:00PM – 2:00PM: Enjoy a delicious lunch on a local farm
3:15PM: Return to Hanoi

In 1986 the Cat Ba islands were established as a National Park by the Vietnamese Government, including the islands and adjacent marine areas. Now it is an important area for nature conservation. In 1995, the Park was listed by IUCN as an MPA representative of the World and its importance has been described internationally. The Park differs from other national parks in Vietnam because of the great variety of landscapes and ecosystems, including sandy beaches, mangrove, freshwater swamp forest, tropical evergreen forests, small freshwater lakes and streams, many coral reefs and seagrass beds. The Park is abundant and diverse in fauna and flora, with 896 plant and 548 animal species recorded, and is considered one of the most beautiful areas in Northern Vietnam. Spend your third day exploring this rich and diverse landscape via a 2 – 3 hour trek.
