Columbus, Ohio- Heating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) is incredibly pleased to announce Tom Peric as the new editor of HARDI’s official publication, Distribution Center Magazine. A prominent figure in the HVACR Industry, Peric will be using his expertise and longtime editorial experience to keep members informed of news, trends, and development within wholesale distribution.
Peric served as the founding editor of the HARDI magazine (under a different name) from June 2005 to August 2011. Prior to that, he worked as a reporter in Washington, D.C. and has served as editor for various publications throughout Ohio. In addition to being a talented journalist, Peric, also a savvy businessman, founded Galileo Communications Inc. in 1996 which provides editorial and public relations consulting services. HARDI looks forward to reuniting with Tom as the magazine continues with the impressive progress made in the past couple years.
“HARDI members have set a very high standard of expectations for information provided to them by HARDI or any of our entrusted partners so this is why it was so important to get an editor of Tom Peric’s caliber at the helm of our magazine, the only HVACR publication exclusively devoted to wholesale distribution,” said Talbot Gee, HARDI executive vice president and COO. “Our success and growth of Distribution Center Magazine since its launch in January of 2012 has exceeded our expectations but now we want to grow it again and Tom is the perfect guy to lead us there.”
HARDI President Royce Henderson (Charles D. Jones Company) echoed this sentiment, stating, “HARDI is incredibly lucky to have Tom Peric on board as editor of Distribution Center Magazine. His talent, experience, and awareness of all things HVAC makes him the perfect candidate to oversee content that will keep our members well informed and ahead of the curve. I have known Tom for a long time and am completely confident he will be a great addition to the team, as well as continue to grow the magazine to new heights.”
Peric looks forward to using his position as editor to bring real-world industry topics and concerns to the forefront.
“I’m delighted to be back,” said Peric. “The issues that affect the HVAC distribution industry and HARDI are both challenging and scintillating to cover in this ever-more complex world. It’s fun and challenging to write about it.”
