Marin business will hold free education seminars for elder care and life planning

San Francisco, CA – September 1, 2009 – Harold L. Lustig founder and CEO of the California Estate and Elder Planning Center “CEEPC” is hosting a free Alzheimer’s Education Seminar on September 15th, 2009 at the Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael, CA. Jo Huey Director of the Alzheimer Institute, a renowned speaker and author will be the guest speaker.

“Our passion is to help our North Bay senior community and their families,” says Lustig. After the distressing personal experience of seeing the loss of his parents’ estate assets as well as his wife’s challenges to supervise and manage her parent’s health care, Lustig began a life long journey to assist seniors, their families and care givers. Lustig and the CEEPC host a series of FREE education seminars throughout the year that examine an array of topics from health care and financial planning to the complexities of the Medical system. This September 15th event focuses on Alzheimer’s Education and is broken up into two sessions: a morning session 8:30 -11: 30am and an evening session 5:30 – 8:30pm. Both sessions are open to the Public as well as Professionals providing them with CA CEU credits and a raffle basket will be given at both sessions to a winning attendee. The seminar will be held at the historical Falkirk Cultural Center and complimentary refreshments will be served at both sessions. Joey Huey has been working with persons with Alzheimer’s disease in 24-7 care since 1986. She is well known for her communication tool “ten Absolutes”. She is author of Alzheimer’s disease: Help and Hope and her new book Don’t Leave Momma Home with the Dog. She founded her own company Alzheimer’s Caregivers Institute in 1999 but her real credentials are that she has cared for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease over the years and is personally committed to helping others facing this enormous challenge.
