Hawaiian Airlines Appoints Timothy Watkins to Director - Continuous Improvement

In this role, he facilitates process improvement initiatives across the organization and works to promote a continuous improvement culture at Hawaiian Airlines.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>   “As an experienced leader of high-level process improvement and project management, Timothy excels at driving corporate process improvement initiatives and we are fortunate to welcome him as part of the Hawaiian Airlines team,” said Ronald Anderson-Lehman, senior vice president and chief information officer.   Watkins is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has worked as an instructor and designer of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt and Yellow Belt Certification programs. Most recently, he was a consultant instructing Lean Six Sigma programs for various clients in the Seattle area. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles at companies including Washington Mutual and General Electric.   Watkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Master of Science in management and safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.   About Hawaiian Airlines Hawaiian Airlines has led all U.S. carriers in on-time performance for each of the past nine years (2004-2012) as reported by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
