HFTP Sydney Australia Chapter on the Horizon

March 8, 2013 (Austin, Texas USA) — Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) continues to expand its global presence with the impending charter of a new chapter, the HFTP Sydney Australia Chapter. Once established, the new chapter will seek to serve members throughout the Sydney region.

“I have been involved with HFTP for over a decade, participating in global-level resources such as HITEC and the association’s broad network of hospitality technology professionals,” said Ted Horner, the managing director of E Horner and Associates. “I want to now help establish those benefits here at home with a specific Australian focus.”

A reception has been scheduled for potential members, including area CFO’s, for March 18, 2013 in the New South Wales area. The event will take place from 5:30 – 6:30pm at the Sirocco Restaurant bar located in the Holiday Inn Potts Point.

HFTP has more than 70 local chapters providing opportunities for networking and education throughout the U.S. and across the globe. Members can attend chapter meetings to connect with their local network of HFTP members and share solutions with professionals in the community. Chapters hold regular educational and social meetings, as well as participate in projects to benefit area charities.
