Providing girls and women universal access to affordable female condoms will not only prevent them from contracting STI’s and unintended pregnancies, but also improve their position by giving them control over their own body.

Crucial need

UAFC, the joint Programme of Rutgers WPF, Oxfam Novib, i+solutions and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be highlighting the crucial need of universal access to a range of affordable female condoms to prevent from both sexual transmitted infections and unintended pregnancies at this year’s International Aids Conference. The conference, Stepping up the Pace, is taking place 20-25 July in Melbourne, Australia.

Events and Activities

UAFC will be present with an international team of experts on advocacy, programming, campaigning and pharmaceutical supply chain management. During the conference we are daily hosting and supporting various events and activities. Please, view the flyer below to find out which ones.

Daily Demonstrations

We cordially invite you to attend our workshops and presentations or find us either near our giant doll Zawadi or in our African hairdressing saloon, where we will hold demonstrations on how to use female condoms. Of course you can always come and meet us during our female condom demonstrations with our well-known belly tray containing a variety of female condoms.
