(www.GAORFID.com) is offering its 4-port fixed UHF Gen 2 RFID reader which can be managed and configured with remote tools that provide pre-configured files for simplified setup. This reader is a cost-effective tool for business class applications such as item-level inventory management and IT asset management.

This highly integrated 4-port fixed UHF Gen 2 RFID reader, model 236024, offers four mono-static antenna ports and is compliant with EPC global Class1 Gen 2 and ISO 186000-6C standards. It features Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies deployment and reduces cost by eliminating the need for an AC outlet installation at read points.

It is equipped with EPC Global Low Level Reader Protocol (LLRP) for easy integration into existing back end infrastructure including wireless LANS, Microsoft BizTalk and IBM WebSphere. In addition, it uses an Intel XScale® processor with 64 MB DRAM and 64 MB Flash memory as well as Win CE OS enabling it to host embedded applications.

This 4-port UHF Gen 2 RFID reader belongs to GAO's family of Gen 2 EPC (UHF) RFID Readers.
