Latest residential technology solutions including entertainment, security and energy management technologies showcased in 5,500 square foot model home

Clovis, CA, May 12, 2009 (PressReleasePoint) -- Hi-Tech Home, a leading electronic systems contractor in the Central San Joaquin Valley, has announced the opening of its show house at Copper River Country Club in Fresno. The 5,500 square foot model home showcases an exciting array of the latest home technology solutions for entertainment, security and energy on the market today.

The Hi-Tech Home show house, considered by industry sources as one of the most advanced show houses in the country, displays a variety of technology solutions designed to enhance and improve many of life’s activities in the home. Features such as a dedicated home theater and home automation round out a long list of items that include:
-A video wall of six 42-inch plasma televisions that can be on individually or merged to create one giant screen
-A mirror in the master bathroom that becomes a television when activated
-A painting in the master bedroom that rises to reveal a television recessed into the wall
-Window shades that can be raised and lowered electronically
-iPhone control able to operate the entire house or a single room through the touch screen

“We want people to see, touch and experience the latest and greatest home technology in an actual living environment rather than a fabricated display room,” said Jay Cobb, president of Hi-Tech Home, which recently received two 2009 Mark of Excellence Awards by the Consumer Electronics Association for its work in the Central Valley. “We’re providing an opportunity for people to understand how various technology solutions fit and blend into their lives.”

The home technology solutions displayed in Hi-Tech Home’s show house are priced starting at a few hundred dollars and can extend up to several hundred thousand dollars. The smart house will be open to the public beginning May 2 from 12 to 5 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday thereafter from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It can also be viewed during the week by appointment.
