Hittite Adds Two New High Gain MMIC LNAs

GaAs pHEMT LNAs Support Broadband Applications from 600 to 2900 MHz!

Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, has introduced two new SMT packaged GaAs pHEMT MMIC Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) which are ideal for automotive, broadband, cellular/3G, WiMAX/4G and fixed wireless applications from 0.6 to 2.9 GHz.

TheHMC718LP4EandHMC719LP4Eare GaAs pHEMT MMIC Low Noise Amplifiers which are rated from 0.6 to 1.4 GHz, and 1.3 to 2.9 GHz respectively. These high linearity LNAs deliver up to 34 dB gain and +39 dBm output IP3, with noise figure as low as 0.9 dB. Both LNAs exhibit excellent input and output return losses, and require minimal external matching and bias decoupling components.

TheHMC718LP4EandHMC719LP4Eshare a common pinout and are housed in RoHS compliant 4x4 mm QFN SMT packages. These versatile LNAs can operate from either a +3V or +5V bias supply, and feature an externally adjustable supply current which allows the designer to tailor the linearity performance of the LNA for each application. TheHMC718LP4EandHMC719LP4Eare ideal for transceiver applications in automotive, Cellular/3G, WiMAX/4G and other broadband wireless communications infrastructure.
