Home Loan Specialists Launches Community Web Site for Residents of Champions and Champion Forest Neighborhoods

HOUSTON, TX - April 8, 2009 -- Home Loan Specialists, Inc., a Houston-based mortgage lender, today unveiled a new community web site targeted to the Champions and Champion Forest communities of Spring. This members-only site will serve as a cyber medium where neighbors in the Champions area can communicate with each other regarding relevant news, local events, and access directories of services and merchants.

"We believe this medium is unique in our community because it combines the content traditionally found in news sites, social networking sites, and consumer-oriented sites in one place", stated Mike Lesmeister, Executive Vice President of Home Loan Specialists, Inc. "As a fellow member of the community, we felt sponsoring this site was one way we could foster a better sense of community", Lesmeister added.

Residents of the community will be able to clip coupons, view restaurant reviews from fellow neighbors, and communicate via a community forum, sponsored by the mortgage lender. The web site can be accessed at www.unitechampions.com

As the popularity of social networking has soared, there is a desire among many to tie relationships back to their neighborhoods. This site helps accomplish that goal. "We all know that the stronger and more tight knit a community is, the more successful it is over the long-term", Lesmeister said. "That is our goal as a community member; to keep it strong."

Invitations have gone out to many residents and businesses of the Champions and Champion Forest neighborhoods and participation has already exceeded expectations. Residents are encouraged to visit the site themselves and join the community.
