Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office Director Wang Guangya set aside time in his visit to Hong Kong yesterday to tour the Sky100 tourist attraction in Sun Hung Kai Properties’ (SHKP) International Commerce Centre. He was accompanied by Secretary for Development Carrie Lam, Secretary for Transport and Housing Eva Cheng, Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak Sing, SHKP Vice Chairmen and Managing Directors Thomas and Raymond Kwok and Executive Director Mike Wong, Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Executive Director Jimmy Wong and Sky 100 General Manager Elaine Tsui. Mr Wang took in the panoramic view of Hong Kong from the observation deck and was briefed on key upcoming development projects.

The government officials explained Hong Kong's comprehensive urban planning to Wang, including an idea to increase land supply through rock cavern development, the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail and the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Jimmy Wong was very pleased that Mr Wang could visit, saying: "Sky 100 is a popular vantage point 393 metres up that offers a panoramic view of Hong Kong. The deck has attracted many celebrity visitors since its soft opening in April, as it is the best place to take in the Hong Kong cityscape all in one sweeping view."
