IBISWorld Appoints Henry Carlson as U.S. Industry Research Manager

, a Santa Monica-based industry research firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Henry Carlson to the position of U.S. Industry Research Manager. Mr. Carlson is responsible for leading a team of industry research analysts to ensure the quality and timeliness of the reports they write on over 700 U.S. industries.

Mr. Carlson comes to IBISWorld from Micronomics, an economic research and consulting firm, where he was responsible for examining the strategic and financial position of client firms, valuing economic damages for commercial litigation, and drafting economic analysis reports. He also served as an economic consultant for CRA International in Palo Alto, Calif., and a senior valuation analyst at McGladrey Capital Markets (formerly RSM EquiCo).

Carlson received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. He currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif.
