Icontrol Networks Takes Home Two Maximum Impact Awards at ESX 2014 Awards Recognize Icontrol’s Security Solutions as Top Mobile Application and Installation Tool
Redwood City, CA – July 9, 2014 – Icontrol Networks, a leader in connected home technology and innovation, today announced it received two ESX 2014 Maximum Impact Awards – its Home View 3D solution won in the Accessories & Aids: Mobile Applications category, and its System Installation Wizard received top honors in the Accessories & Aids: Installation Tools/Testers category.
“Security is a major priority for consumers, and it is crucial to the success of the home security and service provider companies we work with. Icontrol recently found that 100% of consumers view security as a must-have in a home automation system, showing the vast scale of the market for these types of solutions,” said Paul Dawes, executive vice president and general manager at Icontrol Networks. “The Maximum Impact Awards are proof of what the industry can accomplish in the market, both in helping partners streamline operations and increase profits, but also in the products and services that ultimately reach consumers. This is a proud accomplishment for Icontrol and a testament to the strength of our solutions.”
Icontrol’s Home View 3D product feature was named the winner for the Accessories & Aids: Mobile Applications category. The product feature allows homeowners to view and manage their entire connected home from a single, intuitive three-dimensional view.
Icontrol also won the Accessories & Aids: Installation Tools/Testers category with its System Installation Wizard. The System Installation Wizard is designed to reduce the overall time of install, eliminate costly configuration mistakes and reduce the amount of training required for new installers. A simplified web-based experience, troubleshooting tools and other functionality increase the quality of installation and allow any installer to easily navigate the process.
Home View 3D and the System Installation Wizard are available on the Icontrol Connect™ platform solution that powers smart home solutions offered by leading home security and telecommunications providers in North America.
The awards were announced at ESX in Nashville on June 25th, 2014. The Maximum Impact Awards honor security products and services for their impact on integration and monitoring companies.
Winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges including leadership from ESX and its owners CSAA and ESA. Additional information about the 2014 Maximum Impact Awards can be found at http://www.esxweb.com/max.
