Idea Central/SharePoint Integration Combines Collective Intelligence with Collaborative Business Processes

BOSTON, Mass. – March 30, 2010 –Imaginatik plc (AIM:IMTK), the leading provider ofCollective Intelligence software and servicesaimed at streamlining the innovation and idea management process, today announced theintegrationof Imaginatik’s software solution, Idea Central 10, with Microsoft^®SharePoint^®.

The integration seamlessly combines Collective Intelligence with collaborative business processes by using a Web Service API to expose Idea Central content within SharePoint. Its features include: Web Parts that can be added directly to an enterprise, team or personal SharePoint site to display information from Idea Central; RSS feeds that allow groups to see a custom feed of Idea Central activity without leaving SharePoint, and enterprise-wide search capabilities.

The ability to use Idea Central and SharePoint together offers many benefits, including:

• Contextual Actions to Promote Ideation– Allows SharePoint users to contribute new ideas and comments within the context of their everyday collaboration platform integration of Idea Central;

• Integration with Enterprise Search– Enables inclusion of Idea Central data in SharePoint enterprise and federated searches.

Idea Central will be integrated with SharePoint 2010, Windows SharePoint Services (WSS), Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007. In order to make the most of both platforms, Imaginatik has crafted a variety of capabilities, including but not limited to:

• Data Management– Data-export options allow customers to export ideas into systems like Microsoft Office Project Server^®and Excel^®, giving users a continuous view into the development and implementation of ideas within their organization;

• RSS Feeds– Flexible and highly configurable RSS feeds from Idea Central can be included on SharePoint sites; and

• Web Services API– Provides the capability to call virtually any Idea Central content or metric securely over the Web and return it in XML, which can then be transformed into HTML, CSV, JSON or plain text.
