Agreement allows IHS to host and globally sell hundreds of ASM International’s Materials Technical Books critical to engineers and researchers

IHS Inc. (NYSE: IHS), a leading global source of critical information and insight, today announced a new strategic partnership that allows IHS to host and resell more than 100 of ASM International’s technical books. Key titles of these books include Advanced-High Strength Steels, the Understanding the Basics series, Understanding How Components Fail (a best seller) and Metallurgy for the Non-Metallurgist (a Choice magazine-awarded resource).

Serving the vast community of materials users, producers and manufacturers, ASM International provides authoritative information and knowledge on materials and processes, from the structural to the nanoscale. ASM provides its members with high-quality technical information, education and training, networking and cost-effective, user-friendly professional development resources.
