India launch of The PAC Honor Society

BANGALORE, India -- 29 January 2009 --

PAC announces a unique initiative, a global professional community to promote workforce development

The Professional Aptitude Council (PAC), a global organization with headquarters in Silicon Valley - California - USA, Bangalore - India and Beijing - China today announced the Indian launch of the PAC Honor Society, a professional society created to empower technology knowledge workers to grow as leaders.

Offering global credentials and leadership development resources, the Honor Society will allow Indian professionals to learn through interacting with high caliber professionals and some of the world’s most renowned leaders.

Speaking at the launch, Naveen Manjunath, Managing Director of PAC said, “ India’s workforce comprises of many talented individuals, yet wider society has not experienced the depths of the contributions that they have to offer. As an organization that is dedicated to ensuring that every person with talent and leadership potential thrives professionally and contributes significantly, PAC designed the Honor Society to give these individuals access to rich resources, regardless of their background.”

“We’re excited to launch the PAC Honor Society in India,” said Sheeroy Desai, CEO of PAC. “India has some of the brightest minds in the world, and we hope that through the Honor Society they will find a community that enriches and challenges them to flourish as leaders.”

Sponsored by PAC as part of their mission to promote career excellence and leadership, all resources, both online and in the local community, will be available free of charge to members. All individuals who demonstrate their professional achievements and leadership potential will have the opportunity to benefit from the resources that the society offers.

On February 20, 2009 Honor Society members will enjoy their first benefit of membership as they hear from Mr. R.K. Misra, the visionary social entrepreneur who recently won Lead India. Mr. Misra will be speaking on the topic of leadership in challenging times during the India launch event for the Honor Society. The event will take place at the Leela Palace in Bangalore at 7:30 pm.
