iNEMI to Release its Tenth Roadmap Next Month
Free webinar scheduled in early April to review highlights
HERNDON, Va. (March 18, 2013) — The 2013 iNEMI Roadmap is set to go on sale April 4, and two webinars have been scheduled to kick off release of this latest edition of the roadmap. The first webinar is on April 1 for Asia, and the second, on April 4, for Europe and North America (see schedule below).
This tenth edition of the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative’s (iNEMI’s) roadmap was developed by more than 650 individuals from over 350 corporations, consortia, government agencies and universities in 18 countries. It encompasses the entire electronics manufacturing supply chain with 26 chapters that cover six product sectors and 20 technology areas.
The 1.5-hour webinar will provide an overview of the roadmap, highlighting key trends and themes, and will discuss summary details of three product chapters (Medical, Automotive and Portables) and four technology chapters (Packaging & Component Substrates; Board Assembly; Test, Inspection & Measurement; and Environmentally Sustainable Electronics).
