TAIPEI, Taiwan, February 5^th, 2013-Infortrend® (Public TPE: 2495) today announced the next generation of their ESVA line of SAN storage solutions: The ESVA F75-2830 (F75). With improved hardware design, compatibility with SAS 4TB HDDs and VAAI support: the ESVA F75-2830 has the highest performance, capacity and virtualization support of the ESVA family - representing the ideal storage choice for enterprise big data solutions.

The ESVA F75 was built with a powerful new hardware design including a dual-core processor and up to 16GB cache memory that provides the high performance that enterprises demand. This has resulted in the ESVA F75 providing three times the performance as in previous models.

Reacting to the ever-growing needs for storage space in enterprise big data solutions, the ESVA F75 now supports SAS HDDs up to 4TB in size and also supports Infortrend's new ESVA J75-250 expansion enclosure. With support for up to 4,800 HDDs via scale-out, this leads to the potential total space of over 18 petabytes. In addition, a new ESVA expansion enclosure has also been launched. The new ESVA J45-240 follows the growing trend of enterprises using 2.5" hard drives, and can provide higher data capacity with a smaller physical footprint.

As in previous ESVA models, the F75 offers users all the benefits of storage virtualization. FeaturingVMware vSphere 5.1 and VAAI certification, the ESVA F75 supports functions such as Hardware Assisted Locking*, Block Zeroing* and Full Copy* that facilitate even higher performances by offloading CPU cycles and allow for more efficient usage of network resources.
