Insala's Judy Corner to Facilitate Mentoring Work Group at Hillary Clinton and U.S. Department of State's Launch of Women in Pub
“I am thrilled and honored to be chosen to work with this international group of women leaders and even more so that mentoring has been identified as a major part of the Women in Public Service initiative,” says Ms. Corner. “The brainpower gathered together that day will be generating next steps on how to use mentoring to educate, develop skills, widen networks, and support women with the vital resources needed to become influential and effective global policy makers.”
A 22-year veteran in mentoring and human resources consulting, Ms. Corner will facilitate work group discussions on creating sustainable networks of women to identify and encourage mentoring opportunities that will aid advancement in public service careers. This valuable input from the selected group of women global policy makers and leading thinkers will be help lay groundwork for The Women in Public Service Summer Institute.
The Women in Public Service Project is an initiative of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of State, the U.S. Department of State and the Seven Sisters women’s colleges – Barnard, Bryn Mawr, Mount Holyoke, Smith and Wellesley, with a goal to increase the numbers of women in influential public service roles and prepare the next generation of women leaders from around the world for success in public service.
