Chris Barrow Plumbing & Heating shares an instructional video about Gas Safe and keeping the household protected from gas related incidents. Accidents such as leaks and explosions are very disastrous and often fatal.

Weymouth, Dorset, January 22, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) - The heating system is responsible for providing a basic necessity inside the house but it can also be a source of a great tragedy. There have been many reports of casualties due to gas related accidents. Gas leaks and explosions are few of the most dangerous catastrophes that could happen inside a house. To protect the household from such tragedy, it is important that safety measures are adopted especially during the installation of the heating system. To educate their clients more about the hazard of faulty heating systems, Chris Barrow Plumbing & Heating shares an instructional video about Gas Safe and how to keep a household safe from gas related accidents. The video stated that it is important that the heating engineer who will install the heating system is Gas Safe registered. A Gas Safe license is given only to engineers that passed a set of tests that evaluate their skills and capacity in handling gas related appliances. Gas Safe also monitors and tracks the performance of the heating engineers to ensure their effectiveness in the field. To verify their qualification, the video instructs to ask for a Gas Safe ID. The Gas Safe ID has four important elements, the engineer’s photograph, a license number, a security hologram and the expiry date. At the back of the ID is a list of skills that the engineer is qualified to work on. Gas Safe engineers can also do regular maintenance and servicing to ensure that the heating system is working properly. Regular inspection can also help in the early detection of leaks or problems inside the heating system before it becomes a deadlier threat.

Chris Barrow Heating & Plumbing stated that all their engineers are Gas Safe registered and are more than happy to accommodate requests for urgent repairs or installations.
