ATLANTA – InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts is proud to offer its Atlanta guests a new specialty cocktail menu, featuring Coca-Cola® and RIEDEL glassware.The InterContinental brand crafted a series of globally-inspired cocktails that celebrate cultures around the world and the great taste of Coca-Cola. The InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta will serve the cocktails in the Coca-Cola + RIEDEL glass that launched earlier this year.
The 11 internationally inspired cocktails each represent a different country or continent and reflect the global scope and local insight of the InterContinental brand. Each beverage features Coca-Cola and blends its great-tasting flavors with local ingredients or spirits specific to the culture and cuisine of a region in each country. For example, the “Happy” cocktail represents Thailand and infuses the Thai ingredients of Lemongrass and Black Sesame into a simple syrup for the beverage. The Japanese-inspired cocktail “Wonderful” features Hibiki 12, a 12-year old blended Japanese whiskey and Yuzu juice, which is a citrus fruit and plant originating in East Asia.

The Coca-Cola + RIEDEL glass was developed by a tasting panel, led by George Riedel, 10th generation owner of the Austrian company, to showcase the unique aroma and taste of Coca-Cola. Its stem-less “O” design draws inspiration from the iconic Coca-Cola contour bottle.

The cocktail menu will be available exclusively at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta through the end of September.
