LOS ANGELES, CA - The InterSports Network is proud to announce the addition of Carrie Milbank, a model and current host of "The Hockey Show" featured on NHL.com. Milbank is also an aspiring television and online broadcaster in the worlds of sports and entertainment, and she recently launched her new web site http://www.OfficialCarrieMilbank.com on the IS Network.

"Having Carrie Milbank as our spokeswoman for the IS network brings a fun, bright fresh female out look to the sports world," InterSports CEO Lin Milano said. "We are thrilled to have her as part of our network."

One of the main reasons Milbank joined the InterSports team was the opportunity she had to gain easier access to her newest "teammates" - the growing family of athletes who are part of the IS Network, including Hockey Hall of Famer Bryan Trottier, T.J. Oshie, Willie O'Ree and twins Peter and Chris Ferraro.

"Joining the InterSports Network is a thrilling new venture for me because, like the IS Network team, I see enormous potential for online media growth in the world I'm most familiar with, sports & entertainment," Milbank said. "The sky is the limit with this remarkably dynamic team.

Milbank is excited about showing and telling the world about a side of athletes they might not otherwise ever get to know. In the near future, Milbank said she would also like to set up an open line of communication with her fans and blog about the questions they have for her.

"Whatever they care about, I care about," said Milbank, referencing her fans. "I've never had an outlet to do that before now, so I'm very much looking forward to connecting to the people who are curious about what Carrie Milbank has to say.
