INTSPEI Sponsors Software Engineering Conference in Russia

The International Software & Productivity Engineering Institute (INTSPEI) announced today that it will partner once again with TEKAMA in the sponsorship of the upcoming Software Engineering Conference (SECR 2008) being held on October 23-25, 2008 in Moscow, Russia.

The Software Engineering Conference in Russia is the key Eastern European Software Engineering event that attracts computer and IT professionals from all over the world. Each year SECR gathers more than 500 participants from 15+ countries: scientists, top managers of software development companies, software architects, developers and quality engineers.

"We are proud to support the biggest software conference in Eastern Europe," said Vladimir L. Pavlov, INTSPEI Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer. "What makes this conference unique? The special guest at the SEC(R) 2008 is Erich Gamma - a member of the legendary Gang of Four, which is known for its classical book on Design Patterns. Erich will make a presentation and conduct a workshop. Also participants of conference will have a possibility to attend an MDA workshop delivered by Stephen Mellor - Agile Manifesto signatory, who has contributed to the Object Management Group, chairing the consortium that added executable actions to the UML and the specification of Model Driven Architecture.
