INTSPEI Sponsors Ukrainian Students' Winter School of Programming

International Software & Productivity Engineering Institute (INTSPEI) announced that it will partner with Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics (KhNURE) in sponsoring the students' Winter School of programming, which will take place in Kharkov, Ukraine, on February 14-20, 2008.

About 200 students from Ukraine, Russia, and other Eastern European countries will attend the students' Winter School of programming this year. The event offers an excellent opportunity to the best computer science and software engineering students to practice their programming skills, learn cutting-edge technologies and share their experiences.

"One of the aims of the Winter School is selection and preparation of strong teams for international students programming contests," said KhNURE Chancellor Mikhail F. Bondarenko. "To achieve this, we need to improve the quality of the education of computer science students, motivate students and university staff, and provide them with a venue to communicate with each other. INTSPEI support is very important for us, and it will help us make this event valuable and remarkable."

The program of the winter school contains various activities: lectures by programming gurus, seminars for students and trainers, and, of course, the programming contest between students' teams. The contest will last for five days.
