Ipswitch’s WhatsUp Gold Division teamed up to sponsor three-time Super Bowl Champion and two-time Pro-Bowler Matt Light’s fifth annual Matt Light Celebrity Shootout this fall.
Held on Rhode Island’s picturesque Addieville East Farm, which encompasses over 900-acres of land, Light’s unique clay shooting competition benefits his Light Foundation; a charity that promotes the betterment of at-risk youth. Continuing Ipswitch’s WhatsUp Gold’s longstanding policy of public out-reach and charitable contributions WhatsUp Gold President Ennio Carboni, signed on to sponsor a team at New England Patriots offensive lineman, Light’s event.
"A pillar in the foundation of our company has always been charitable contribution; our founder has been active internationally for over 20 years in high impact charities. We donate five percent of our profits every year to charities because we believe it’s the right thing to do as a responsible business,” Carboni explained.
The event is not only unique for it’s location and theme; a skeet shooting competition attended by sponsors, professional sports members and local celebrities alike, but also for the opportunity it affords WhatsUp Gold to give back to its customers.
WhatsUp Gold invited a long-standing customer to join the 4-member WhatsUp Gold sponsor team.
“Being able to participate in the Matt Light Celebrity Shoot Out to benefit the Matt Light Foundation really helps us accomplish two goals;” Carboni added, “one, getting to know our customers a little bit more intimately and learning from them and; two, getting to do something good for children who do not have the same comforts our children enjoy. It’s a win/win."
