IxLoad and IxNetwork solutions help Israeli startups to rapidly validate and harden their networks prior to launch

TEL AVIV, Israel - Jan. 30, 2013 - Ixia (Nasdaq: XXIA), a provider of enterprise-class test and monitoring solutions that accelerate and secure application delivery, announced that Israeli Mobile & Media Association's Acceleration Lab will employ IxLoad and IxNetwork to enable secure and reliable application delivery for participating startups.

With Ixia solutions, IMA's Acceleration Lab provides the necessary tools for mobile startups to quickly and easily accelerate their business and ensure that their products work anywhere and anytime. Ixia provides companies with actionable insight to strengthen their networks while at the same time delivering a quality experience to their customers.

Startups participating in IMA's Acceleration Lab can now use the IxLoad and IxNetwork solutions to quickly validate and optimize their networks via:

• Emulating data, voice and video subscribers and associated protocols to ensure quality of experience with IxLoad.
• Validating company networks through creating and testing for real-world protocols and network behavior with IxNetwork.

The IMA Acceleration Lab, launched in the beginning of 2010 and co-funded by the Israeli Chief Scientist, is a unique facility globally and was initiated with the purpose of helping mobile startups better prepare their products for the market. The lab is equipped with high-end testing gear for load, conformance, quality of service, and interoperability and LTE network testing, and is facilitated with Orange Israel and Telefonica network APIs.

In addition, it contains a pool of more than 2,000 handsets and other technical services and capabilities. Now, with IxLoad and IxNetwork, startups and developers have the data needed to eliminate guesswork about the performance and security of their applications.

Ixia, with more than 220 customers and 13 years of business experience in Israel, is the sole network testing company with a direct office in Israel. These close community ties enable Ixia to better serve and support the Israeli technology market.
