Entrepreneur and activist joins two non-profit organizations, announces plans for American Credit Start

James Hooks, entrepreneur and activist, is increasing his activism efforts by agreeing to join two non-profit organizations: Greenpeace and Save The Children.

Greenpeace is a non-governmental environmental organization whose goal is to ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all its diversity. Greenpeace uses direct action, lobbying and research to achieve its goals. The global organization does not accept funding from governments, corporations or political parties, relying on more than 2.8 million individual supporters and foundation grants.

Save The Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world. Recognized for their commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration, their work takes them into the heart of communities, where they help children and families help themselves.

In addition to the two established non-profits, James Hooks has announced that he will be ramping up efforts for his non-profit organization, American Credit Start. He will be announcing the official website launch by the end of June 2010, and also announce a new Kickstarter page to ramp up fund raising efforts for the organization to give American children more education on how to be fiscally responsible in a credit-based society.
