Jedox Bolsters UK Presence with Country Manager

London, 13 May, 2009: Jedox, an international software company that develops and markets commercial, open source-based planning, analysis and reporting solutions, has strengthened its UK operations with the appointment of Paul Newman as country manager for the UK and Ireland.

Newman is responsible for growing Jedox’s presence in the UK and Ireland, which today has over 300 customers using its flagship, Business Intelligence (BI) suite, Palo. Newman has 25 years’ industry experience, including senior management roles at, IBM and Misys. More recently, he served as Global Account Manager at Cognos, a Global Business Intelligence company.

Jedox to host Business Intelligence briefing
On 20 May 2009, Jedox will host a half-day briefing session for the media, customers and partners at Portland Place, London. Nigel Pendse, business intelligence and OLAP analyst and the editor of The OLAP Report, will discuss BI consolidation in the UK market place.
