Jelecos Selects Jitterbit As Cloud Data Integration Platform

OAKLAND, Calif. – April 7, 2011– Jitterbit, the leading provider of simplified, powerful, and flexible application anddata integrationsolutions, today announced that Jelecos, a technology partner and a service provider for Lindsay Corporation, switched from IBM’s Cast Iron Systems integration solution to Jitterbit for its ETL and data integration processes.

As a technology service provider for Lindsay Corporation, a leading manufacturer of agricultural irrigation and infrastructure equipment, Jelecos provides critical managed infrastructure for key systems such as: email, VoIP telephony, enterprise resource planning (ERP), middleware, and back-up and disaster recovery systems. Jelecos previously used Cast Iron for ETL processes associated with Lindsay’s business analytics requirements, but reliability and support issues forced them to look elsewhere. Using Jitterbit for the first time, a single resource at Jelecos was able to completely migrate its existing integration to Jitterbit in just three days. Today, Jitterbit reliably automates daily integration routines, and is the tool of choice for upcoming integrations with Salesforce CRM, Micro Strategy BI and other internal products.

Jelecos supports Lindsay Corporation’s data warehousing initiatives, consolidating data from multiple international deployments of Microsoft Navision ERP. A key point of failure for its previous integration solution was its inability to extract and deliver timely and accurate data from various Navision systems for important business analytics and executive dashboards. Using Jitterbit, the team was able to build smart ”cascading” extraction of data within each time zone. As a result, the executive team now receives near real-time insight into Lindsay’s global activities.
