Former Cast Iron Systems Executive Joins Fast Growing Data Integration Company

Oakland Calif. – May 4, 2011 Jitterbit, the leading provider of powerful, flexible and easy-to-use application and data integration software, today announced the appointment of George Gallegos as its new CEO. Entering on the heels of the company’s best quarter ever, Gallegos will steer Jitterbit through its next stage of growth as a technology leader in the on-premise and cloud data integration market.

Gallegos brings more than 20 years of software leadership experience and was most recently a founding member of C3, a Tom Siebel venture focused on energy and carbon management. Previously, Gallegos was vice president of worldwide sales at Cast Iron Systems, leading global field operations for the integration appliance vendor. Delivering the company eight consecutive record quarters totaling 285 percent growth, Gallegos was integral in positioning Cast Iron for its acquisition by IBM. Prior to Cast Iron, Gallegos was a regional vice president at Oracle Corp., focusing on CRM applications for Oracle’s top 250 accounts, and where he received the coveted Vice President of The Year Award. Prior to Oracle, Gallegos spent eight years at Siebel Systems where he served as regional vice president and led some of the most successful sales teams in the history of Siebel Systems.
