Joe Hines Joins Duke Fuqua School of Business Board of Visitors

Richmond, VA – December 26, 2017 – As one of the world’s most elite business schools, Duke Fuqua School of Business has appointed Joe Hines, PE, MBA, as Chair of the Alumni Council. Hines will serve a term on the Board of Visitors for the Duke Fuqua School of Business through 2018. Hines, a 2003 graduate of the school, is currently a Partner and Director of Economic Development for Timmons Group, a national consulting engineering and technology firm.

“It’s an extreme honor and privilege to serve my fellow Alumni in this capacity,” said Hines. “When I look at the intellectual capital, accomplishments and passion of the Board and Alumni Council, I’m excited about what the next few years has to offer and my opportunity to grow from this experience while serving the school.”

The Fuqua School Board of Visitors is comprised of decision makers from many of the world's most important organizations who advise on Fuqua's curriculum, programs, facilities, and operations.  Known for their active engagement with the school, board members provide support on key initiatives and strengthen the school's relationships within the business community.
