Today, FSR, ABA, and SIFMA along with several other financial services trades sent a letter of support for S. 2588, the “Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2014” to Majority Leader Reid and Minority Leader McConnell. CISA will strengthen the nation’s ability to defend itself against cyber-attacks by encouraging the business community and government to share cyber threat indicators more effectively. FSR strongly supports this legislation and urges that it be brought to the Senate floor as soon as possible.
