Sydney, NSW, Australia., March 10, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) - Jonathan Cattana, Principal at Habitus Asset Management, recently made an announcement regarding 5 one day workshops. Presented by veteran educator and investor Peter Thornhill, who also happens to be the author of “Motivated Money”, these workshops are said to be for those who wish to understand the basic rules of investing and finance. In Jonathan’s own words, “See, the sooner you learn the basics, the better the rest of your life would be. Hence, we are keeping the workshops open for all age groups.
On being asked if the attendees need to be familiar with financial terminology to be able to benefit from the workshops, he was quick to add, “Not at all””. That’s because only everyday language would be used, with no jargon whatsoever.”
Nevertheless, among other things, these 1-day workshops are aimed at making the difference between asset classes clear. “Many people out there don’t know the difference between cash, shares and property. And many of us, don’t have the basics to understand how they perform against each other. I guess these workshops would be of great help to such people,” said Jonathan.
Interestingly, one of the purposes of these workshops is to create awareness about financial media build up and hype. According to Jonathan, “You need to be able to read past the headlines and understand the facts.”
Here, it’s worth mentioning that all the 5 workshops are to be conducted on a Saturday.
