Dubai, United Arab Emirates., March 4, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Jotun Paints, one of the world’s leading producers and distributors of paints and coatings, is set to throw the spotlight on its ‘Megayacht Professional’ range during this year’s edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), the Middle East region’s largest leisure marine show, which will be held from March 5^th to 9^th, 2013 at the Dubai International Marine Club at Mina Seyahi. The ‘Megayacht Professional’ range, which consists of anti-fouling, primers, top coats, fillers and paint systems, is being positioned to address the increasing demand for high quality luxury boat and vessel paint protection products. The Jotun booth will be located at Stand No. ESS-P1-2.
 
Recent industry reports have shown that a large majority of the world’s super yacht owners can be found in Dubai. This is widely attributed to the emirate’s positioning as a regional hub and its large concentration of wealth coming from the GCC region. Over the years, Jotun’s success in the marine industry can be traced to its use of cutting edge technology to develop highly advanced paint products. Proof of this is the ‘Megayacht Professional’ range, which has been specially developed for high end luxury vessels like speedboats and super yachts. Utilizing the range results in a silk glossy finish and a clean underwater hull that help the vessels keep their speed high.

Jotun’s ‘Megayacht Professional’ antifouling products, ‘Megayacht Imperial Antifouling’ and ‘Megayacht Royal Antifouling,’ helps maintain a boat’s desired speed with less friction while at the same time drives in a reduction in fuel consumption. ‘Megayacht Professional’ primers and undercoats prevents the degradation of fiberglass, aluminum, steel and wood. The primers, which can be used on any part of the boat, includes ‘Megacote,’ ‘Megamastic,’ ‘Megasealer,’ ‘Megaprimer’ and ‘Megaspeed Undercoat.’ Jotun also offers a full range of long lasting topcoats with excellent gloss and colour retention together with a demanded wet look effect. The topcoats include 'Megagloss HG' and 'Megamatt Agent.' Lastly, Jotun ‘Megayacht Professional’ fillers can be applied across high film thicknesses. Using the fillers can level out and smooth the ship’s hull surface, provide stronger adhesion and cohesion and enable sanding with minimum loss of thickness. The filler range consists of ‘Megafiller,’ ‘Megafiller hot Climate,’ ‘Megafiller Multi,’ ‘Megafiller Smooth’ and ‘Megafiller Deck.’ Aside from the strong features that each product presents, Jotun also provides key technical support to its clients.
