New South Africa EP, video launch Justin's dedicated giving intiative to help build schools in South Africa.

(Haileybury, July 5, 2010 (PressReleasePoint).

2009’s original “Say What You Will”, by JUSTIN HINES was embraced internationally, enjoying high Internet traffic and sales for his album, Chasing Silver. It was a top download on iTunes and one of the most emailed videos on Sympatico.ca, perhaps Canada’s most-traveled internet portal. Now, a South African version of the song heralds Hines’ campaign to build schools in South Africa. The remix features the Seta/Siyaya Learner Choir and the Keynote Acapella Group as well as children from Despatch and St. Elizabeth’s primary schools as well as Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network-supported, 7 Fountains.

The new video continues the “white-board” mash-up that made the original version of the song so popular and depicts not only the country’s evident challenges but also a vision of the joy and hope manifest in the children. Even Archbishop Desmond Tutu created his own whiteboard with a message of optimism for the video. More than half of the proceeds from sales of the new SOUTH AFRICA” EP benefit the Stephen Leacock Foundation for Children, and The Association for the Physically Disabled (Eastern Cape) and other South African charitable organizations. The full EP, available at inDiscover.net, was broadcast to great effect in South Africa during the World Cup.

The “South Africa” EP includes the “Say What You Will” and “Chasing Silver” audio remixes as well as “Courage (Come Out To Play)” and the South African version of the “Say What You Will” video. The video is available for viewing and purchase at http://indiscover.net/Media.aspx?ID=11167.
