Kineo and E.learning Age to Launch Major Report at the E-learning Awards 2012
Kineo, the leading e-learning company, and e.learning Age, will launch a major new report on Learning Technology this week at the E-learning Awards in London.
The report is based on interviews with over 30 businesses on their use of learning technology, and outlines ten key trends.
E.learning Age and Kineo are two organisations that are passionately interested in developments in learning and technology. In their respective ways, both aim to lead and inform the market through their research and sharing of insights. Early in 2012 the organisations decided to work together to produce an annual e-learning insights report.
As part of this research Kineo undertook interviews and meetings with over 30 leading L&D figures across a wide variety of organisations. They included Aviva, BT, BP, Barclays, BUPA, BBC, Vodafone, British Army and many others.
The purpose of these structured interviews and meetings was to explore the trends in learning technologies, the challenges facing L&D departments and how they were responding to these issues. Ten key trends emerged from our research. Get a sneak preview of these trends in a short two minute animation on Kineo's YouTube Channel.
The full report will be launched on Thursday November 8th at the E-learning Awards, where all attendees at the event will get a free copy. The E-learning Awards is the premier event in the e-learning calendar – find out more here.
The report will also be available online from the e.learning Age and Kineo websites from 9th November 2012.
Steve Rayson, Managing Director of Kineo commented: “It’s been a real privilege to sit down with over 30 industry L&D leaders to discuss the potential they see for technology enabled learning in the workplace. The future looks bright – as one of our interviewees put it, there’s never been a better time for learning technology to demonstrate the value it brings to business.”
Peter Williams of E-learning Age commented: “The progress of the industry as measured by the E-Learning Awards is further enhanced for the first time this year with the inaugural Kineo/e.learning age research which provides further compelling evidence of the way that L&D professionals are not only using technology in learning but beginning to really think carefully about the use of technology in learning.”
Kineo and e.learning Age will be running the first of several Learning Insights Live events on November 15th. At this event we’ll discuss the report with guest speakers including Clive Shepherd and Laura Overton. Limited space is available, find out more here.
