The new King’s College London Report is published this week.
This illustrated magazine-style publication features a sample of the immense range of research, teaching and innovation undertaken at King’s in 2012-13.
Topics include: King’s bold and unique collaboration between the arts and academia; the College’s new approach to internationalism; the breadth and depth of dental science at King’s; an ambitious project to map how the human brain assembles itself in the womb and just after birth; the rich feast of research on food and eating, which extends across all King’s Schools of study; the establishment of a specialist sixth-form school that will produce brilliant mathematicians, and the centenary of King’s College Hospital’s move from central London to Denmark Hill.
The Report also features an introduction by the Principal; College and student news, and facts, figures and finances about King’s. It is the Principal’s report to the College’s Council and is widely distributed to opinion-formers, funding councils and bodies, NHS contacts, national and local politicians, fellows, friends and staff of the College, visitors and VIPs.
