Kodali Named Director of Strategic Planning and Market Analysis for Eaton's Aerospace Group

IRVINE, Calif. … Power management company Eaton has named Aroop Kodali director of strategic planning and market analysis for the Aerospace Group. Previously, he was director of strategy and business development for Siemens' transportation sector. Kodali reports to Einar Johnson, vice president of customer solutions and services for Eaton's Aerospace Group, and is based in Irvine, Calif.

“We are pleased to welcome Aroop to Eaton's team as we focus on global growth and value creation for all of our stakeholders,” Johnson said.

At Siemens, Kodali led project-management activities for the transportation sector's long-term strategic plan and also was responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, he was a senior product manager for Siemens's healthcare sector. Earlier in his career, Kodali was a manufacturing engineer for Medtronic.

Kodali received an MBA from the University of California, Davis, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India.
