Industry Pro Niels Reuther Brings Commercial VSAT Experience to Help KVH Europe Pursue Growing Commercial Opportunity

Kokkedal, Denmark � December 4, 2008 � In response to a growing demand for broadband connections at sea, KVH Europe A/S is expanding its presence in the commercial marine satellite communications market, building on the success of its TracPhone� V7 and mini-VSAT Broadband service, Inmarsat FleetBroadband-compatible TracPhone systems and award-winning TracVision� satellite TV systems. To take full advantage of this opportunity, KVH is pleased to announce that Mr. Niels Reuther has come aboard as its new commercial sales manager to guide this endeavor.

As KVH�s new commercial sales manager, Mr. Reuther will use his experience in the commercial maritime market to help develop distributor and customer relationships, helping to pair commercial mariners with products from KVH that best suit their needs. He comes to KVH from Furuno Danmark A/S, where, as communications business unit manager, he developed successful practices for meeting the unique needs of commercial customers, worked in cooperation with distributors, and was responsible for growing Furuno�s VSAT business. This experience will help KVH successfully meet the strategic challenges within the commercial marine industry.
