KYOCERA Introduces New Slim, Waterproof K007 Mobile Phone with Illuminating Design

The K007 has 7 colors of lights that illuminate in 50 patterns when the phone is opened, upon receiving calls or texts, and when performing operations. Also, the handset has 6 LED lamps on the outer face of the phone so that even when closed the phone will light-up when receiving calls and texts.

The bright, dazzlingly lights and cute design targets young female users, so the compact 49mm-wide, 13.9mm-thick size is ideal for them to grip and use. The K007 comes in 3 color variations: The subtle color gradation of the “Mint Sorbet” and “Flower Petal,” and the basic colored “Star Night.”

The handset is waterproof and equipped with an 8-megapixel facial detection auto focus camera. It also has fun, personalized camera settings and easy blog updating features. Furthermore, it comes with convenient functions such as “Sugu Moji” (quick character input) and a “privacy folder;” as well as “teen mode” which allows the phone’s setting to be changed to limit some functions for age-appropriate usage.
