On Wednesday, July 9, Sapienza University will host an event to present the new EU Life 2014-2020 Programme for financing projects addressing environmental and climactic issues.
LIFE is the European Union's financial instrument to support environmental, nature conservation and climate action projects throughout the EU. Since 1992, LIFE has co-financed 4171 projects, contributing approximately €3.4 billion euros to the protection of the environment.
The event, which will be introduced by Sapienza Rector Luigi Frati, will serve to present the guidelines of the new programme and analyse the main experiences of projects in previous Life calls.
The information day is organized by Sapienza University, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea.
