Lake Arrowhead announces that it has sold the last remaining lot on the Peninsula, a collection of 14 waterfront homesites.

Waleska, Georgia, United States., January 9, 2012 - (PressReleasePoint) - Lake Arrowhead announces that it has sold the last remaining lot on the Peninsula, a collection of 14 waterfront homesites.
 
Homebuyers from several parts of Georgia purchased these lake lots priced from the $200,000s. Most of them plan on living at the Lake Arrowhead on a permanent basis, and three buyers have existing property at the community. In spite of lower consumer confidence and a struggling housing market, these homesites continue to generate interest among buyers.
 
“We are very excited to welcome these new homeowners to our community,” Tommy Elsberry said. “The Peninsula offers lakeside living at its finest with level, dockable lots that provide amazing views of the lake. One couple has already started construction on their new home. Rick and Penny Greenfield are building a master on the main plan with a daylight basement. The new home will have more than 4,500 square feet of space and serve as the couple’s primary residence. While both of them currently work, they plan to eventually retire at this community.   
 
“We’ve always wanted a home on the lake and sort of stumbled onto Lake Arrowhead. Green trees and water were very important to us, and being able to sit on the dock and look out across the lake is wonderful,” said Penny. “We love the people and especially enjoy eating at the Highlands Grill. The community is serene and yet still convenient to reality.”
 
At Lake Arrowhead, buyers have the option of using a preferred builder or bringing in an independent builder to construct the home. Several owners have already put docks on their homesites to take full advantage of the amenities on weekends. The Lake Arrowhead community is built around a 540-acre lake, which allows residents to enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and more.
