LAN AIRLINES TICKET SALES TO ALL DESTINATIONS BACK TO NORMAL

LAN Airlines reports that starting today passengers can once again purchase plane tickets for all domestic and international destinations served by the airline.

Additionally, the online check-in option on LAN.com is fully operational, allowing passengers to print their boarding passes beforehand to help expedite the check-in process at the airport.  The most up-to-date information on the status of flight operations can also be round on LAN.com.

“We are requesting that customers who have purchased tickets for travel in the month of March reconfirm their flight on LAN.com,” said Pedro Margozzini, Director of Marketing for LAN Airlines.

Over the past weekend, the airline concluded the process of rescheduling travel for passengers who were affected by flight cancellations due to the earthquake that struck the southern region of Chile.

LAN Airlines has designated an airplane that will fly from Santiago to Concepción daily carrying shipments of humanitarian aid and volunteers or staff members from organization includingHogar de Cristo(Christ’s Home), the Red Cross, Caritas,Un Techo para Chile(A Roof for Chile) andBomberos de Chile(Firefighters of Chile).

“As part of our commitment to the country during this difficult time, LAN has arranged for a daily flight to serve those  relief agencies who are in charge of coordinating the most urgent aid being sent to Chile’s Southern region,” said Margozzini.
