User Reference Programs Illustrate Today’sSolutions and Tomorrow’s Innovations in Advanced ID Credential Programs

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – Nov 29,2010– LaserCard Corporation (NASDAQ:LCRD;www.lasercard.com), a leading provider ofsecure ID solutions, will showcase major ID credential deployments at Cartes& IDentification 2010 conference and exhibition in Paris, December 7 –9.  LaserCard will use real-worldexamples demonstrating how advanced technologies, innovative manufacturing approaches,expert consulting services and a global partner base combine to address themost complex ID requirements. Demonstration stations will cover the positiveimpact of the solution for the country, the client and the credential holder.LaserCard will exhibit at Booth #N 080.

Increasing demand forpowerful ID solutions incorporating optimal security and durability, togetherwith high functionality, adds a new dimension of intricacy to ID credentialingprograms.  To illustrate howcomplex projects can be navigated to a successful conclusion, on time and onbudget, LaserCard will feature a number of recent programs that have deliveredsignificant results in terms of technology, execution and innovation. 

These include: 

-      The newU.S.Green Card, the firstcombination of LaserCard’s Optical Security Media (OSM) and RFID tag, innovativevisual security features, and strong industry partnerships delivering one ofthe world’s most powerful ID solutions. The program was judged the world’sleading government ID card in terms of technology and user utility in a July,2010 report by analyst firm Frost & Sullivan and continues to deliver anever exceeded standard for uncompromised security in an application stillrelevant after more than 12 years.

-      TheCostaRica Foreign Resident Card,demonstrating the delivery of an end-to-end solution from design to issuance,leveraging OSM to deliver a tamperproof and counterfeit-resistant solution thatis also ICAO-compliant.

-      TheSaudiArabia National Identity Card, a continually evolving nationwide program featuring both contactchip and OSM technology to provide advanced technology, durability, datacapacity and flexibility to deliver the maximum return on investment.

-      Severalprograms in Italy including theCarabinieri (Italian National Police Force)ID Card,incorporating OSM and two chip technologies. The credential also serves as a citizenID and provides secure access to key facilities and e-government services - asingle secure ID credential replacing multiple legacy documents – withwatertight security and fraud resistance.

-      TheAngolaNational Identity Card,modeled after the U.S. Green Card, and now being rolled out to the country’s 20million citizens, even in the most remote rural areas. The cards are useableeven where electronic readers are not available incorporating eye-visibleauthentication and security features for reliable visual examination.
