ELMSFORD, N.Y. — IP audio, video and control infrastructure manufacturer Lawo is adding U.S. personnel and opening a new support and logistics hub in Elmsford, N.Y. The company is headquartered in Rastatt, Germany.

Hans Juergens

The company says its new location will be three times the size of its previous facility and will function as a “warehouse, test facility, training center and East Coast sales and support office.” It will complement rather than replace Lawo’s U.S. headquarters in New York, in addition to the company’s West Coast sales and support office in Los Angeles and its Canadian headquarters in Toronto.

Ricardo Martinez

Ricardo Martinez has been named North American logistics and support coordinator. He most recently worked as operations supervisor with Autonomic Controls.

Also, Hans Juergens was chosen as broadcast engineer for pre- and post-sales technical support, joining David Antoine on Lawo’s U.S. support team. Juergens is known for his work as a staff and contract engineer for companies such as ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN and Vyvx Solutions, and most recently was a mobile unit engineer for NEP Broadcasting.
