Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates., February 16, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -

Leading Dutch manufacturer of high quality arts and crafts supplies, Royal Talens, has joined hands with Paperworld Middle East as official Arts and Crafts Partner. Announcing this, organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt said that Royal Talens’ participation at Paperworld Middle East adds a fresh dimension to the premier trade event for the Middle East paper, office supplies and stationery industries. The recent demand for art galleries and artistic spaces in the region has given a boost to the art community. This has lead to an increased demand for arts & crafts materials and supplies.

“Royal Talens joining with us as Arts and Crafts Partner adds another facet to Paperworld Middle East,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “Apart from widening the scope of our exhibition to  include arts and crafts suppliers for the first time, their participation makes Royal Talens’ renowned range of arts and crafts supplies available to regional buyers. Paperworld Middle East will continue to bring more leading manufacturers and suppliers in touch with the Middle East market in an effort to further raise the standards of goods and services available currently,” he added. Royal Talens’ portfolio of products include water colours, oil colours, pastels, water mixable oil colours, children’s colouring material, acrylic colours, pencils, painting accessories and hobby paints.

“Royal Talens will join Paperworld because we experience a growing fine art interest in the Middle East,” said Harold Kruis, Marketing Manager of Royal Talens. “We are excited to explore the opportunities in this emerging region and are proud to demonstrate the first new Cobra Study water mixable oil paint in the UAE. With Cobra, artists can paint solvent free because it contains a unique formula which ensures that this oil paint can be mixed and thinned with water. Cobra Study is in particular appropriate for art academics, as they are more concerned about the health of their students. Cobra offers artists infinitive freedom.”

The UAE is enjoying a boost in its artistic community with a wide range of new and unique art exhibitions taking place across the country. In addition, regular events, festivals and art forums have propelled the sector which is now enjoying record growth and increased awareness. Leading arts and crafts manufacturers’ i-silicone and Mungyo from South Korea join Royal Talens in the arts & crafts category at Paperworld Middle East, indicating the growing interest in this segment. Mungyo will showcase its range of watercolours, crayons, markers, oil pastels, gluesticks, clay and boards and i-silicone will showcase its range of Think-doh – oven bake-able play dough for children made from non-hardening silicone clay.

In just two years, Paperworld Middle East has cemented its position as the regional trade and networking platform of choice for stationery, gifts, office supplies and paper products. The 2013 edition is set to be larger than the previous year and will feature many first time exhibitors with new offerings for the regional trade community.
