Lennar Raleigh Hosts A Food Drive To Benefit The Food Bank Of Central And Eastern North Carolina

Triangle Residents Can Bring Items To Two Of The Homebuilder’s Communities Next Saturday, November 14

With hunger remaining a serious problem in Central and Eastern North Carolina, the Raleigh Division of Lennar is hosting a food bank next Saturday, November 14 at two of its Triangle communities to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

Area residents can stop by Lennar’s StoneWater community in Cary or Lennar’s Glenwood Station community in Raleigh and drop off items that will help the food bank ensure they have the needed supply to get through the holiday season.

Items needed the most include:

• Canned Meats – Stews, Soups, Tuna, Ravioli
• Peanut Butter
• Cereal
• Canned Fruits and Vegetables
• Rice, Pasta and Dried Beans
• Hygiene Items – Toothpaste, Feminine Products, Shaving Items, Soap
• Infant Products – Diapers, Wipes, Formula, Infant Cereal
• Paper Products – Toilet Paper, Paper Towels

Raleigh’s “The Hit Music Channel” G105 will be onsite from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. providing a live radio remote at Lennar’s Glenwood Station community promoting the food drive.

Take I-40 W to NC 540 W Exit 283A
Go to NC 55 W
Exit NC 55 W Exit 66B towards Durham
Take first left onto O'Kelly Chapel Road
Go 7/10 of a mile and turn right on Claystone Lane

DIRECTIONS:
From 40W take the I-440 outer beltline to exit 7 onto GLENWOOD AVE
Pass Crabtree Valley Mall on the left
Continue 4 miles go past Bassett Furniture take the next available U-Turn after the Room Store
Turn right onto Paula Ann Ct. between Klaussner Home Furnishings and Room Store
